Screw-in Tire Studs are a type of DIY or professional aftermarket traction device where metal studs (spikes) are physically screwed or bolted directly into the tread of a tire. Unlike factory-installed studs that are pressed into pre-molded holes, screw-in studs allow you to convert a standard tire—or even a worn tire—into a heavily-studded traction tire for off-road, ice racing, or extreme winter use.

Screw-in Studs

Non-slip threaded studs are primarily used to prevent slipping in tubeless tires.
