Product Description

18g/cm³ High Denstiy Tungsten Alloy Ball

The tungsten alloy ball is known as the smallest high-density ball in the field of tungsten alloys, meaning it can be used in a wide range of applications—such as small, high-density fields—including golf balls, fishing counterweight components, hunting tackle; balance weights for oil extraction; and even precision instrument applications like mobile phone vibrators, watch counterweight blocks, watch balance wheel components, mobile phone vibrators, flywheel counterweights, and more. High-specific-gravity tungsten balls and tungsten counterweights are widely employed in balancing systems and manufacturing facilities.

  • Size: 1 mm – 100 mm.
  • Density: 15.8–18.5 g/cm³
  • Composition: 85-97% W, W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu
  • Surface: sintered state or abrasive state

Characteristics of high-specific-gravity alloys

Small but highly dense (typically 16.5 g/cm³ to 18.75 g/cm³), it boasts a high melting point, exceptional rigidity, excellent abrasion resistance, superior tensile strength, remarkable ductility, low vapor pressure, and outstanding thermal stability—yet remains vulnerable to certain stresses. It is highly resistant to corrosion, exhibits superb KangZhenXing properties, demonstrates remarkable radiation absorption capabilities, and offers outstanding impact resistance along with exceptional circulation performance. Importantly, it is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, fully aligning with international environmental protection standards. Due to the alloy’s exceptionally high specific gravity and the remarkable functionalities outlined above, it finds extensive applications across aerospace, aviation, oil drilling, electrical instrumentation, medical fields, and numerous other industries.

Tungsten alloy ball applications

High-specific-gravity tungsten balls and tungsten counterweights are widely used in counterbalancing applications.

As fishing counterweights, medical instrument counterweights, shielding materials, shotgun pellets, counterweights for other aquatic vehicles such as motorboats, sailboats, submarines, ballast objects, and more.

We offer a wide range of high-density alloys that can be produced using ROTF materials (blanks, large-sized products for processing), rods, balls, and plates. With strong processing capabilities, we are able to provide you with finished products in standard sizes or customized solutions.

Tungsten alloy balls are widely used in ball valves and bearings. We can offer tungsten alloy balls in various grades and specifications. Each process is strictly monitored to ensure that the products meet your requirements precisely. We utilize advanced technology and rely on the highest-quality materials. Our products exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance and wear durability, which not only extend the lifespan of the bearing but also enhance the overall value of your product.

Tungsten alloy tungsten balls are used as shotgun projectiles for hunting. A shotgun is a firearm that typically uses a wad instead of a bullet to load the cartridge. In hunting, this makes shotguns primarily suited for bird hunting and other small-game pursuits.
