The Carbide pins are small Hard inserts made from tungsten carbide (WC), welded or fixed to the agitator or rotor shaft inside a ball mill or grinding chamber. They are positioned along the arms or discs of the agitator to enhance energy transfer to the grinding media (balls).

 

Function in shredding machines
